An Enterprise System is a system that focuses on the entire organization, not just a certain part or group. Enterprise Systems are an important element when it comes to the processes of the organization. They support the organizations by helping them coordinate and communicate “among different functions” (19) as well as make data easily accessible to everyone involved in the process.
